Historic Canal Street Downtown New Smyrna Beach Events Calendar

The 2nd Saturday of every month Downtown Canal Street is host to a great Classic Car Show usually from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.  The city closes off the street to all vehicle traffic with the exception of the Classic Cars themselves.

This is an awesome event for the whole family to enjoy, there is food, a D.J. and most of the merchants are open for business during the event.

First Saturday of every month from 4PM until 8PM.  Come visit us downtown for our monthly Gallery Walk where you can enjoy Artist Demonstrations, Music, Refreshments, and of course Artwork.

The Saturday after Thanksgiving has become an exciting "HOLIDAY STREET FESTIVAL"

FUN FOR THE WHOLE FAMILY

Canal Street is closed to vehicular traffic for the day and the downtown is transformed into an old fashioned hometown event! Typically, local talent is featured all day long on three separate stages with singing, dancing, aerobics, martial arts drill teams and bands. Area non-profit groups set up tables to sell holiday goodies. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrive on an antique fire truck and families can enjoy a horse drawn carriage ride. The Police, Fire and Sheriff’s offices set up special community activities. The Marine Discovery Center, Water Taxi, Pastime Princess and the Atlantic Center for the Arts all join in the festivities. Games, prizes and holiday cheer abound in and out of all the stores. Start the day with the “Run to the Sun” Memorial 5K Run/Walk to benefit St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital this year.
