Classic Car Show with East Coast Cruisers from 4:00pm until 8:00pm. The city closes off the street to all vehicle traffic with the exception of the Classic Cars themselves. Lunch is 'on the house' on Canal Street this summer
Who says there’s no such thing as a free lunch? This summer, residents once again may take advantage of the Canal Street Historic District’s “Lunch on Us” program that offers groups free lunch for visiting participating merchants.
The program runs June 1 - August 31
Reservations are required.
Groups receive a shopping passport that is stamped by each participating shop. Guests preview the shops, which is a three-block walk each way. When the passport is full, the group is treated to lunch at the Dolphin View Restaurant. No purchase is necessary to participate. However, reservations are required.
